A platform for testing self driving vehicles

I am design lead on a simulation platform for development and testing of autonomous vehicle features. Five was a start up SaaS platform for customers - we were then acquired by Bosch and now working in partnership with Volkswagen.

The main product areas:

• Creating / editing simulations.

• Organising and managing large scale tests.

• Monitoring results in specialised dashboards.

• Gathering / evaluating data from real drive recordings.

Scenario editor - Setup complex scenarios and add variable parameters to simulate many conditions.

Results dashboard - Hundreds of variations of scenarios, aggregated for comparing software versions.

Playback one specific simulation variation - With the same interface for viewing both simulation results and real word recordings
